No. Your keyboard stays as it is. Dornio adds a floating mic on top of it. Tap to dictate, then carry on typing.
Why pay when the built-in dictation is free?
Stock keyboards run a reduced model offline, with a smaller vocabulary than their cloud mode. Dornio runs a full model on the phone, so offline is the only path, not the downgraded one. You also keep your own keyboard for typing.
How can you sell a lifetime licence when nobody else does?
Cloud apps pay a server bill for every minute you speak, so selling a licence once would cost them money forever. Dornio runs on your phone, so your usage costs us nothing after you download the model. The 250 founding seats are capped because one-time buyers fund the build, not what comes after it. When they're gone the price goes up, not the cap.
Will I get charged when the trial ends?
Only if you decide to continue. We notify you before the 15 days are up, and you can cancel in Google Play at any point without being charged.
Why does Dornio ask for accessibility permission?
It lets Dornio see which text field is focused and type into it, in any app. That is the only use. No screen content is read, stored, or sent anywhere.
How does it handle accents or background noise?
It handles a wide range of accents and keeps working in moderate noise. A quiet room gives the best results. If a word that matters to you gets missed, add it to your dictionary.
Does it really work with no internet at all?
Yes, once a language model is downloaded. The internet is only used to download models and manage your subscription.
Will it drain my battery in the background?
No. Dornio sits idle until you tap the mic. It is not listening continuously.
Which Android versions are supported?

What happens if I cancel?
Pro features switch off at the end of the period you already paid for. Nothing is deleted from your device.
